Difference between Natural Condoms and Artificial Condoms

Natural condoms mean those that are made of naturally occurring substances such as lambskin. Artificial condoms are those that are made of chemically procured substances such as latex or polyurethane. Most of the people around the world use artificial condoms as they provide more protection than natural condoms. Under some special circumstances such as latex allergy, some people demand for natural condoms, among which the lambskin condoms are most used.

Difference between Natural Condoms and Artificial Condoms

Natural condoms are made from natural products such as lambskin while artificial condoms are produced from latex or polyurethane.
Lambskin or natural condom is known to give a different type of sensitivity to the usual latex or polyurethane. Men do not feel them on.
Natural condoms transmit warmth a lot better than artificial ones.
Natural condoms are not as safe as artificial condoms because of the small pores in them. Particularly for protection from sexually transmitted diseases, the natural condoms are rendered useless as the small pores can let in the viruses that cause the STDs.
Natural condoms are almost as good as artificial condoms in providing protection from unwanted pregnancy. They are able to prevent the transmission of sperms despite the small pores. These pores are too small to allow the sperms to go through.
Artificial condoms are less expensive when compared with natural condoms. They are needed for people who are allergic to latex.
Natural condoms do not provide good protection when used during oral sex. Artificial condoms provide the best possible protection from the dangers of oral sex such as transmission of HIV and other STDs.

Natural or lambskin condoms are a kind of male condom. They have a sheath that is made from an intestinal membrane of the lamb. They can cover the penis during sexual intercourse and provide effective contraception. This is the oldest known method of contraception, the oldest form of condoms. Some historical records show that such condoms were used as early as the initial years of the Roman Empire.

The use and utility of lambskin condoms is under question by some who say that since other ways of protection from latex allergy have been developed, it would make sense to phase out the lambskin condoms. These condoms may still be left with the use of allowing more pleasurable sex between spouses or committed relationships.

Kamasutra Sex Positions for Healthy Sex Life

It is well known that foreplay is more important than the actual act of intercourse. It implies that when a man and woman are completely healthy and young, sex is between the ears and not so much between the legs. This was realised in ancient times by the sages and it led to the development of Kama shastras, which were later compiled into one work we know to be Kamasutra. Apart from great insights into cultivation of skills and imbibing of wisdom, this body of work is also known (rather known more) for the advice and instructions for enhanced sexual pleasure.

Kamasutra Sex Positions

A woman clings to a man much like a creeper encircling a tree, the man lowers his head down to towards hers with the desire of kissing, and makes a “sut sut” sound, the woman embraces him. She looks lovingly towards her man in this position, which is called the “twining of a creeper”.
A woman places one of her feet on the foot of the lover and the other one on his thighs; passes one of her hands round his back and the other is kept on his shoulders. She makes a cooing or singing kind of noise and acts as though she wanted to climb into the man and give a kiss, this position is called “climbing of a tree”.
When in bed, the lovers embrace each other in a way that the arms and thighs of one of them surrounds, and as though encloses, the arms and thighs of the other, and it is as though the body parts were rubbing against each other. This position is called “mixture of sesamum seeds with rice”.
A man and woman love each other so passionately that they grip themselves in such an embrace as though they will enter into each other’s bodies. In this amorous act, the woman is usually seated on the man’s lap, in front of him, or in bed. This fervent embrace is called “mixture of milk and water”.

There are many graphic details in the Kamasutra texts on ways of copulation between men and women. After explaining them in detail, it is cautioned that a horse in his swiftest motion, does not pay heed to potholes, pits and ditches in the road; similarly  a loving couple may go on having sex without any regards of it having an unhealthy impact on them. That is why it is very important to get the complete knowledge of Kamasutra before trying out the sex positions. The sex positions are not suitable for all persons at all times, and the couples who intend to try them need to know the right time and suitability for each of them.

Now, a headband that boosts your sleep and sex life!

Those who have been concerned that the sleep they are getting may not be of great quality and is hampering their productivity as a result, can now find their answers in a new headband and iPhone app released by Zeo, Inc., the revolutionary sleep management company.

The technology offers the first way to measure ‘exactly how you slept,’ its inventor, Ben Rubin, told the Daily Mail.

Rubin claims the gizmo can even improve your sex life.

The headband has two silver patches to monitor your brain waves, and show whether you are in ‘deep sleep’ or are dreaming.

The app even offers advice on what might be disturbing your sleep, from snoring partners to over-lit bedrooms.

The gadget measures tiny electrical impulses in your skin that reflect what’s going on in your brain - ‘scoring’ you with a ‘ZQ’ score for how much deep sleep and REM sleep you get.

“If you’re a young, healthy person, you should be scoring 100,” says Rubin.

The app is easy to read, with different colour bars representing different ‘types’ of sleep.

It also offers sleep advice if you feed it with data such as your caffeine intake.

Exhibition reveals ancient Greeks’ sex life

The ancient Greeks are till date the unbeaten heroes when it comes to love and lust – and now an exhibition featuring eye-popping art in Athens has exposed the practice of sex in the classical times.

"The Greeks were anything but prudes," said Nicholaos Stampolidis, director of the Museum of Cycladic Art, where the show will run for six months. "Theirs was a society of great tolerance and lack of guilt."

Stampolidis was able to narrate the story of love in antiquity after amassing around 272 objets d`art, including masterpieces from more than 50 international museums which date from the 6th century BC to the 4th century AD.

"The concept of Eros – love – was very broad in ancient times," the archaeologist said. "Sexual desire was, of course, a component but it was also a unifying force that encompassed the desire for anyone or indeed anything."

"It wasn`t an easy task," The Guardian quoted the professor, as saying.

He went on: "It`s easy to write about love in either poetry or prose. It`s much more difficult to represent it visually

What lies behind unsatisfying sex?

An Asia Pacific sexual health survey in 13 countries including India has uncovered staggering levels of sexual dissatisfaction among 60 percent of Weak erections cheat two thirds of men, women of satisfying sex.

The Asia Pacific Sexual Health and Overall Wellness (AP SHOW) survey found that men with "suboptimal erections" are less satisfied with sex and other aspects of the sexual experience.

The survey also found that men and women who are "completely" or "very satisfied" with sex are more than three times more likely to feel good about their relationships and life overall compared to those who are only "somewhat" or "not at all satisfied" with sex.

Fifty four percent of men with optimal erectile function say that it is "very true" that they feel good about their relationships compared to 47 percent with suboptimal erections.

Among women, this difference is significantly more pronounced - 65 percent of women whose partners have optimal erection function say that it is "very true" that they feel good about their relationships, compared to only 32 percent of women whose partners have suboptimal erections.

The data was based on survey of 3,957 sexually active men and women (2,016 males and 1,941 females). The respondents were aged between 25-74 years and had had sexual intercourse at least once in the past 12 months.

The 13 countries surveyed were India, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and New Zealand.

Rosie King, sexual health physician, Sydney Centre for Sexual and Relationship Therapy, said: "A person`s willingness to talk about sexual health and performance is heavily influenced by diverse cultural beliefs and practices - most patients and even doctors are uncomfortable initiating such discussions. Therefore, a great many people remain untreated."

Suboptimal erections are a common problem, affecting more than 50 percent of men aged 40 to 70 years. Erection problems and suboptimal erections are not a normal part of ageing. An older male has just as much right to normal sexual functioning as younger men.

Suboptimal erections can be due to an underlying illness or medication, and is not always due to psychological factors alone. Suboptimal erections often have a mixed genesis, both organic and psychological. Concomitant physical disease is an important cause of suboptimal erections, said a Sydney Centre release.

Effective and convenient treatments are available and international medical consensus has affirmed that in suitable patients with suboptimal erections or ED, oral medications should be the first-line treatment.

How to de-stress your sex-life

Do you feel that stress is squeezing the fun out of your bedroom life?

Yes, then you can bring back the action, courtesy tips provided by sex educator and relationship expert Dr. Yvonne Kristin Fulbright. According to the expert, many couples become frustrated, even panicky, when their sex lives go to the wayside during stressful times. When it comes to the factor that governs a person's sex life, it's personality, reports Fox News.

Fulbright says that how an individual's sex life fares depends on whether he tries to get closer to his partner in tragic times or wants to be totally alone and if he's the withdrawing sorts, then it can create misunderstandings in the relationship.

In order to avoid any such misunderstandings and still keep sex life full of fun and passion, Fulbright has suggested that couples need to establish a common ground and mutual understanding during stressful times.

Also, they should make an effort to stay connected during life's highs and lows, because if they don't, it could lead to dire consequences. And in case, sex is not on mind and also the time to be spent in the sack is less, then a person can try the following:

1. Showing appreciation for one another- Giving compliments, for example, is a simple way of expressing affection and letting your partner know that he or she is still being noticed and loved.

2. Talking daily- Chat during dinner or at bedtime. Conversations foster bonding by providing support. It's also important for couples to check in with each other, showing concern and care for one another's well-being with simple statements like, "Tell me about your day."

3. Staying positive- Bite your tongue if you're about to complain. Stressful situations are hard enough to deal with. Don't add to it if you can avoid doing so.

4. Believing in your future together- Stressful times can make lovers doubt their ability to stay together for the long haul. Insecurity issues that arise can only make matters more difficult. Making plans is one way to indicate that you're feeling secure about your future.

5. Helping each other with responsibilities- Approaching tasks with a team effort provides a greater sense of being in ‘this’ together.

6. Balancing ‘alone time’ and ‘together time-’ Create a sensual atmosphere, for example, soothing scents, dim lights, delicious food, and relaxing music to help you unwind.

7. Getting creative in how you'll be intimate- Redefine your definition of sexual intimacy when needed; try a simple body massage.

Not to forget, lovers should make it a point to give in to one another's requests for intimacy whenever possible, as it might just prove to be a big stress-buster. In fact, sex has many physical and emotional benefits, which may help in boosting your desire for more sex and emotional intimacy. Sex can easily take your mind off of your worries.

Also, patience is the key to get your sex life back on track. One should make sure that your relationship, in general, doesn't get neglected.

5 Exercises for men to boost their sex life

Viagra, regular exercise could be the best medicine for a man to improve his sex life
You know that working out is good for your health. But did you know that hitting the gym could also help you have better sex?

Working out three to four times a week can do a lot to help your sexual technique, flexibility, and endurance. So what types of exercise are best for better sex? Here are the highly recommended five “sex exercises.”

Sex exercise #1: Weight lifting
Strength training could be just what the doctor ordered for your sex life. The reason – weight lifting causes the body to produce testosterone, which is the primary precursor for the male sex drive. In fact, some studies have linked short intense exercise, such as weight lifting, with increased testosterone levels. So go for push-ups, sit-ups and crunches. These muscle-building exercises can help lead to better sex by strengthening the shoulders, chest, and abs. Strong upper body strength can increase stamina since these muscles are used during intercourse.

Sex exercise #2: Kegels
Doing Kegels is considered a good sex exercise for men because these exercises can help endurance and control by toning the pubococcygeus (PC) muscles – the ones that let you stop the flow of urine mid-stream. Named after Los Angeles physician Arnold Kegel, they strengthen the muscles in your body’s pelvic floor, which can lead to better sex. Men can use Kegels to delay ejaculation by contracting these muscles just before orgasm. To do Kegels, start by interrupting the flow of urine when going to the bathroom to get familiar with your PC muscles. After that, you can do Kegels anytime and any place by squeezing the PC muscles. Hold for 10 seconds, relax, and do as many reps as you can before tiring.

Sex exercise #3: Yoga
Want to shake up your sex life with some new positions? Practicing yoga will give you better sex by allowing your body to get into creative positions for maximum pleasure during intercourse. Yoga poses that improve pelvic muscles are the Bow Pose, Peacock Pose (also called the Forearm or Elbow Balance) and Shoulder Stand.

Sex exercise #4: Fast walking
In a study of 31,000 men over age 50, Harvard researchers found that aerobic exercise resulted in a 30 per cent lower risk of erectile dysfunction (ED). More specifically, according to another study, aerobic activity that burns at least 200 calories per day (equal to fast walking for two miles) can significantly lower the risk of ED. Brisk walking is thought to help ED by improving circulation and blood flow. Fast walking, running, and other aerobic activities keep your blood vessels clear. The result can be stronger and longer erections. Vigorous activities, such as running and brisk walking, also release endorphins and relax you, which can boost sexual performance.

Sex exercise #5: Swimming
In another Harvard study of 160 male and female swimmers, swimmers in their 60s reported sex lives comparable to those in their 40s. Since sexual activity can be an act of endurance, long-distance swimming can keep you going and going like the Energizer bunny. Swimming for at least 30 minutes three times a week will increase sexual endurance and also lead to weight loss, which can also lead to better sex. A randomized, single-blind study of 110 obese men with ED found that losing just 10 per cent of their body weight improved sexual function in one third of the men. And it’s no secret that losing excess body fat will help attain those six-pack abs and make you more attractive to potential partners. The result: better sex!

Try doing some (or all) of the above workouts to improve your sexual technique, endurance, and flexibility. Your lover will be impressed with your sexual powers and, as a side benefit, you’ll get healthier and fitter along the way.

Obesity 'can kill your sex life'

Here's another reason why you should shed the flab -- excess weight can hamper your bedroom life, for a study has found that obese people have less sex.

An international team, led by Professor Frances Quirk of James Cook University, has carried out the study and found that in addition to increasing health risks, obesity can kill overweight people's sex lives.

According to researchers, there are several biological and physical factors, which could lead to a decrease in sexual functionality.

"Sexual dysfunction is very personal and even within a relationship lots of couples find it very difficult to talk about changes. One partner may say, 'I think something has changed and I don't know what it is, while the other is thinking 'they've gone off me'.

"Excessive weight gain may lead one partner to find the other less physically attractive, a change in hormone production and lower energy levels and all these things can have a negative impact on your sex life," Prof Quirk said.

According to the researchers, people are likely to be attracted to certain body shapes in the opposite sex.

"When men see women with a small waistline and broad hips the are just primed to respond to those shapes, while women are attracted to the triangular shape of a man. These body types are indicative of hormonal and physiological characteristics that are naturally attractive.

"With a round body shape all of those cues are hidden so what you're relying on in terms of your own sexual response to someone is subjective feelings," Prof Quirk said.

9 mantras to reclaim your sex life

If the credit crunch managed to limp your sex life last year, then here are nine tips from an expert to help restore those lost charms in
Reclaim your sex life

the bedroom.

Dr. Ian Kerner, a New York City-based sex therapist, said that recession had taken its toll on people in general who were subsequently “having less sex”. "Fifty million people are stuck in a sex rut. The economy inhibits a person's libido because they feel stressed and depressed,” Fox News quoted Kerner as saying.

The author of Love in the Time of Colic: The New Parent's Guide to Getting It on Again has proposed nine ways to help those looking to give a boost to their passion.

Here are nine ways to reclaim your sex life:

1. Just go ahead with it: “It might sound silly, but just have more sex. Your mind has become habituated to not having sex, so it’s hard to break out of it. You have to reconnect.”

2. Connect with each other: “You can’t just turn sex on when it’s time to go to bed.You need to build that sense of connection."

3. Stay positive: “Studies show that for couples to boost their sex life, they have to be positive. It’s easy to go home and talk about mortgages and bills, but if it leads to a negative cycle of communication, figure out a positive form of communication.”

4. Prioritise your relationship: “Couples are spending more time on Facebook and blogs. The next thing you know it’s 11:30 p.m. and it’s too late for sex. There’s no urgent need to check your BlackBerry — your relationship has to be a priority.”

5. Adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle: "It's easy to binge at the end of December with the holiday eating and drinking. Get healthy and remain healthy. It will increase your sex drive and exercise will boost your self-esteem, which is crucial to enjoying sex."

6. Reveal fantasies: “In sex, you often do the same things, rely on the same moves. Share a fantasy. Or, if you feel your partner is lacking in attentiveness, instead of criticising, express it in a sexy way.”

7. Lend a helping hand: “A lot of women aren’t interested in sex because they have other things on their minds like chores, dirty dishes and men can’t always appreciate that aspect. If men help and create an environment where women want to have sex, that’s really important.”

8. Be honest: “One of the benefits of being in a relationship is that sex isn’t perfect — guys are subject to their issues, women are subject to theirs. If in ’08 you were saying something didn’t matter, (maybe) it does in ’09. Sex changes from year to year and ’09 is a new year.”

9. Create the right environment, ‘the love nest’: “Put a little more energy into your surroundings. Create a surrounding that appeals to your senses.”

Add Quality To Your Sex Life

You may be having a large quantity of sex but that does not mean you are leading a quality sex life.

Instead of going for a frequent and boundless sex you can consider having one or two sex sessions in a pre-planned manner so as to derive immense sexual pleasure and filling excitement in your sex life.

Quality sex will naturally boost your desire for having frequent sex in the long run. So, do not simply focus on the quantity in the beginning; rather think of how to derive maximum pleasure out of infrequent sexual intimacy.

In order to fill quality in your sex life the first and foremost requirement for you and your partner is to be open and communicative to each other. Remember that communication is the key to a healthy sexual relationship.

Make your partner aware of your likes and dislikes so that he or she can know as to how to make session pleasurable and enjoyable for both of you.

Before having sex talk to each other over any sex novels, lovemaking scenes in movie or any story on sex so as to make your lovemaking session exciting.

Remember that quality sex is not something that you can achieve through hurried rush; rather spare time to relax by sharing wine and massaging each other. By giving message you both of you will be able to explore hot spots on each other that are needed for pleasurable and exciting sexual intimacy.

Another essential requirement to achieve quality sex is to fill sex session with some spices and variety. Enjoy all intimate things and do foreplay till half an hour before having intercourse.

Make sex an important part of your life. Remember that your sexual health is one of the most essential requirements for your physical and emotional well being.

Practice exercises to remain sexually fit and energetic. Women can perform Kegel exercises while men should perform exercises to give proper shape to their muscles which in turn will help them control their ejaculations.

Do not forget to include sexual fantasy in your sex life. According to sex therapists fantasy is the most important aspect of human sexuality.

You and your partner must spice up sex life by using videos and masturbation besides performing erotic dance and bondage.

Swine flu and your Sex Life

We’re all adults here, so there is no need to run screaming through the streets, but we must use some common sense to keep
Swine flu and your sex life

That includes taking a few extra precautions when it comes to your sex life. Swine flu scare is making sex life suffer. The scare of swine flu is forcing the people to stay indoor but simultaneously creating a fear among the couples to stay away from each other. The reason for staying away is not only the respiratory droplets but also contact formites. The basic fear is that infection can spread one day before the symptoms appear. This one-day fear window is making people afraid of active sexual life.

If one person in a family is suffering with flu symptoms (like fever more than 100.4, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue, or vomiting and diarrhea ) then all other family members might have a fear in themselves that they might catch those symptoms easily.

Maintaining 3-feet distance is creating a myth that husband and wife should sleep 3-feet apart on the bed. Sexual life requires close physical intimacy and that is getting affected because of flu mania. People are also afraid that kissing can aggravate infections; it should be avoided if any of the partners has flu symptoms. Flu is not only affecting sexual life between a husband and a wife, also it is affecting friendly relations, couples are canceling their dates, missing lunches, movies, late night parties, social gatherings and much more. Even the release date of some movies has been postponed because of flu mania.

Stay away from your partner for 7-10 days, if you have flu symptoms. Couples should not plan for conceiving if any of them is taking medicines for any type of flu. Pregnant women are at higher risk for complications from the flu–especially the swine flu where there is no vaccine
. Rather they should avoid social gatherings and stay at home in case of such epidemics as high degree fever can even precipitate abortion. Contact your doctor immediately, if found any of the above mentioned symptoms and definitely, stay out of the party life and social gatherings until you feel better!

Older women still enjoy healthy sex life

While it said that women become less sexually active as they get older, a new study has found that a large number of women aged 60 and above still enjoy a healthy sex life.

Dr. Alison J. Huang, of the University of California at San Francisco, studied 1977 racially and ethnically women, aged 45 to 80 years old.

She and her colleagues found that 43 per cent of women, overall, said that their interest in or desire to have sex was "moderate to very high" over the past three months, while 60 per cent reported some sexual activity in the previous three months.

Among those in the age group 65 and older, 28 per cent reported at least moderate interest in sex during the past three months, and nearly 37 per cent had engaged in sexual activity during that time, reports The Age.

Fifty-seven per cent said they were at least moderately sexually satisfied.

The study also showed that women who were sexually inactive were more likely to be satisfied with their sex lives if they were older.

Among those not sexually active, 39 per cent reported lack of interest, 36 pct reported lack of a partner,

Nearly 23pct mentioned their partners'' physical problems, and 11pct reported their partners'' lack of interest in sex.

Only about 9 per cent of the women said that their own physical problems were the cause.

In addition, being married or living with a partner more than tripled a woman''s likelihood of having sex at least weekly.

The chances of having weekly sexual activity also rose with a woman''s scores on tests of mental and physical health.

The findings have appeared in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

Daily sex 'best for good Sperm'

Daily ejaculation may be the best way to improve sperm quality. Having sex every day improves sperm quality and could boost the chances of getting pregnant, research suggests.

In a study of men with fertility problems, daily ejaculation for a week cut the amount of DNA damage seen in sperm samples.

Speaking at a fertility conference, the Australian researcher said general advice for couples had been to have sex every two or three days.

Early results from the trial had already shown promising results. But 118 men have now been tested and the benefits for sperm have become clearer. Dr David Greening, from Sydney IVF, told delegates at the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology meeting that eight in ten men taking part showed a 12% drop in sperm DNA damage after the seven days.

Although there was a big drop in sperm numbers from 180 million to 70 million over the week, men were still within the normal "fertile" range. Sperm also became more active over the seven days with a small rise in motility, he added.

The theory is the longer sperm hang around in the testes the more likely they are to accumulate DNA damage and the warm environment could also make them more sluggish after a while.

Ten steps for a rocking Sex

While majority of couples wish to have extended massive orgasm (EMO), not everybody comes down to experiencing these repeated orgasmic waves.

Lovers experiencing one of these massive orgasms have reported enjoying more of life''s joys in general, becoming nicer and more generous in their relationship.

An EMO can last minutes or hours, offering up blissful sensations at increasing intensities, reports Fox News.

And here are the tricks of this tantalizing trade:

1. Truly recognize your pleasure

You want to immediately approve of your present sensations. This starts before you even get in the sack by overcoming anxieties you have about sex. This may require identifying limitations you''ve been taught about sex, like how you''re supposed to respond (or not respond). You need to then challenge any social conditioning that impedes upon your response.

Ridding yourself of the uninvited "others" in your bed will enable you to solely focus on the orgasmic sensations, including ones that come from simply anticipating action.

2. Learn to relax

Lovers have the tendency to tense up during sexual excitement, which is not conducive to extended orgasm. You need to be able to surrender your nervous system during genital stimulation. It''s this letting go of tension that allows you to embrace your pleasure.

3. Get in the know

The more we know about our bodies, sex, and sexual response, the better we can recognize sensations, the more we can lose ourselves in them. Become knowledgeable about sexual response, sexual anatomy, and erotic techniques.

4. Give yourselves time for pleasuring

Lovers may stimulate each other by fantasizing out loud, taking your time getting to the genitals and hot spots. Teasing allows for greater energy awareness and arousal, and these are what make the experience ultimately so mind-blowing.

5. Touch for pleasure

You can show your partner that you are into the moment by informing them about what you are going to do so he or she can surrender more easily. Highlighting a lover''s physical responses further enables them to tune into the sensations.

6. Learn to channel your energy

You want to get out of your head, directing your energy to your groin. This will make for more explosive results, plus help you to further tune into your sexual response.

7. Become an effective communicator

To amplify things up, you may need to request changes that will intensify your pleasure if you''re the receiver. As the giver, you may need to ask for feedback or direction. In either case, asking for more will help you to feel more. Giving approval can do wonders for a lover''s ego.

8. Develop your pelvic floor muscles

Exercising your pubbococcygeus (PC) muscle will put you more in tune with your sexual response. It''s also what makes for more powerful orgasms.

9. Have plenty of lubricant handy

As you will be loving for the long-haul, make sure you avoid the friction, pain, and discomfort that can result from working each other raw by using lube.

10. Do away with any drive-thru mentality

Women's Tips for dealing With Men's Decreased Sexual Desire

If you're a woman dealing with decreased sexual desire in your husband, you're probably frustrated, worried and upset. It can be easy to feel as if something is wrong with you or that your husband doesn't find you attractive anymore. However, most of the time, decreased sexual desire has nothing to do with these things. This article offers some helpful tips for women dealing with decreased sexual desire.

Be Patient

Many times, there can be an underlying cause of decreased sexual desire that men are embarrassed about. For instance, men who are on certain medications or experiencing certain health problems could have erectile dysfunction or something similar. Of course, if that happens, a man's first instinct is to avoid intimate situations with their wives. Other medical conditions could cause decreased sexual desire as well, such as depression. This is why it's very important to be patient with your husband rather than becoming frustrated and attacking him.

Emotions spice up women's Sex lives

According to a latest study by a research team at King's College London those with greater EI had more orgasms. It also suggests that low EI is a risk factor for female orgasmic disorder.

"These findings show that emotional intelligence is an advantage in many aspects of your life including the bedroom. This study will help enormously in the development of behavioural and cognitive therapies to improve women's sexual lives," the Independent quoted Professor Tim Spector, director of the Twin Research Department at King's College London and co-author of the study, as saying.

For the study, a total of 2,035 female volunteers from the TwinsUK registry were recruited, ranging in age from 18 to 83.

The registry consists of adult twins who agreed to take part in studies to investigate the causes of common disorders. Using twins makes it possible to disentangle genetic and environmental risk factors.

All participants completed questionnaires giving details of their sexual behaviour and performance and also answered questions designed to test their emotional intelligence.

Researchers found a significant association between EI and frequency of orgasm both during masturbation and sexual intercourse.

Women in the bottom 25 percent of the emotional intelligence range had twice the normal risk of infrequent orgasm.

Lead author, psychologist Andrea Burri, also from King's College, said: "Emotional intelligence seems to have a direct impact on women's sexual functioning by influencing her ability to communicate her sexual expectations and desires to her partner.

She also said that there was a possible association with a woman's ability to fantasise during sex.

"Emotional intelligence seems to have a direct impact on women's sexual functioning by influencing her ability to communicate her sexual expectations and desires to her partner," said Burri.

The results of the study appear in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Following this study that women with high emotional intelligence have better sex lives, psychologist Jo Maddocks and sexpert Susan Quilliam have come forward to give ladies with flagging libidos a boost.

"Everyone is born with a capacity for high levels of emotional intelligence, but this can change as we go through our general life, depending on what happens to us," the Sun quoted Jo as saying.

"We may lose touch with our emotions because they become too hard to address, stemming from our past experiences.

"We can then start to use coping methods preventing us thinking about them - such as getting angry, or staying quiet and bottling everything up - methods that can become addictive.

"These mechanisms are then often used to deal with anything in our lives - including sex.

"Building bad attitudes can also directly impact our relationships with other people too.

"A negative attitude, poor body language and extreme reactions can shape the way people treat us too (even sexual partners) - making us feel even more isolated and troubled.

"It is acknowledging the emotions and stopping them from ruling our behaviour that gives us emotional intelligence.

"The key is to make small changes to our behaviour, rather than attempt to overhaul our whole personality.

"If you feel ignored or left out at work, for example, try saying hello to colleagues everyday as they walk in to gain a sense of belonging.

Don't let the kids' vacation Make your sex life go on a Holiday

We understand it's not just the sun that's playing spoiler in your sex life this season, but also your brats' summer holidays. We teach you the art of bachchon se bachna

While vacation time for kids comes as great relief for school teachers, it spells a bad time as far as the school of sex is concerned.

You're anyway struggling to find private time, thanks to that 24X7 in-laws, and now, chirpy kids make for the perfect icing on the cake. The only solution to this problem is stealing every opportune moment that comes your way, and devising creative methods to keep the brat pack at bay when it comes to passion play. We lead the way.

Codename games

Don't fret if you can't seem to be able to communicate your urges in words when everyone's around.

Under the table footsie doesn't work either, lest the child ducks to pick up his dropped fork and encounters an intriguing session down below.

Chachas and chachis are always around, so there's no way nain-matakka would do the trick either.

We suggest, you build up your own love code to combat the crowd.

For example, 'I want it to rain' could mean an urge to feel wet you know where, or 'I'm getting fast food cravings' could mean desperate pangs for a quickie.

The clandestine nature of the talking will also help build the anticipation even more. Sign language is always sexier than the spoken word!

Jaldi jive

Quickies are the key to an active sex life amid kiddie presence at home. Once the sign language gets you going, lock yourselves up in a room and devour each other in record time, like the act could be ordered to stop at any time.

You never know when your li'l one knocks on the door, only to knock off that orgy in progress. Move faster, make it more intense a sense of fear only makes the whole thing more exciting and passionate.

Bath bath par

If finding a room for sex becomes difficult, what's the washroom for? Slip in for showers of bliss, and the sound of water won't let your moaning out of the walls.

Keep 'em busy

Buy new games that can be played for over an hour, get a nanny to handle them during the party, turn on cool cartoon or movie DVDs, bake their favourite dish do whatever it takes to keep them busy for a good while.

Calling their friends over to your place and arranging for a group entertainment or even holiday homework session helps, as long as you're not needed around.

Sending the kids out for hobby classes and workshops is also a good idea. Weeklong adventure tours work the best in this department.

While they're sleeping...

Thankfully, most children sleep soundly. When your youngster's fast asleep, gently latch the room door (yours
or his/hers), and make the most of your time together.

Sax can prove a great accomplice to sex, since it's soft enough to not wake up a sleeping soul, and yet strong enough to pump up the rhythm and stop the aahs and oohs from escaping your room.

Great getaways

Once you've helped your kids with their share of pampering, explain to them how you need some time off, too. Leave them at grandparents' for a weekend and take seat in a quiet resort somewhere closeby.

Don't use the pretext of travelling to another relative's, they might insist coming along, and not understand the logic.

Unnecessary lying is something you should always keep away from.

If you think your kids are old enough to understand the need for privacy, ask them if they're okay spending the night at a friend's pyjama party or at a cousin's place while mummy-daddy spend some time with each other.

Ace of base

Another smart idea is to use places the kids won't ever enter into, since they've been given clear instructions not to.

The garage, if you have one, can be a great place to let go of yourself, with the car as a seat of passion.

The basement, attic or storeroom are other options.

These hideouts are unlikely places your kids will peep into, and you won't even be missed if you slip into them. Best frequented after dark fall, though, in negligible light. Happy hiding, folks!
