Is your spouse cheating on you?

Has a sudden change in your partner’s behaviour made you a little suspicious, and makes you check his/her relationship status on Facebook every few days? If that could help, finding an imposter would’ve been just a ‘login’ away. But a few who’ve been through the ‘does he/she love me, does she/he love me not’ phase tell you about the signs that prove your partner could be dreaming about someone else.

Avantika Shah (name changed) says, “I’ve been married for two years now and have known my hubby for eight. I know all his habits. But once when he started talking less with me suddenly, I got suspicious.” It was only later that Avantika came to know that her husband had fallen for a female colleague. Though he apologised and she forgave him, they lost the mutual trust.

But a change in attitude doesn’t always spell doom. Vidhur Viz, 31, says, “My wife and I once had a fight and it got ugly. We didn’t talk to each other for two weeks and during this time I suspected that she had started confiding in someone. She, otherwise a non-fashionable woman, started shopping for clothes, putting on make up and going out more often. When things between us cooled down, I came to know that she splurged to combat depression.”

Shivali Gaur, a youngster, says she sensed it the very first time her guy tried to cheat on her. She recalls, “Since we were in a live-in relationship, he couldn’t really avoid me. But he started being very secretive.” She recalls that he would not take his calls in front of her and wouldn’t keep his cellphone around. And when she tried confronting him, he confessed of two-timing. Lifestyle expert Sanjay Chugh feels sudden unexplained absences, taking extra care while dressing up, which usually one doesn’t do, are pretty definite signs of something funny going on. He says, “Guys would either go on the offensive or become even more cautious.” He feels confrontation is the best way out.

Women more likely to cheat on their partners than men

And you thought men do all the "goofing around" when the topic of long-term relationships arises – a new shocking UK poll has found that women are more likely to cheat on their partners than men.

Four out of 10 admitted they had been unfaithful compared to just three out of 10 men, the surprising study found.

The poll of 3,000 adults discovered that two fifths of cheats ended up kissing someone while out clubbing while almost one in four cheated with a colleague at a work event.

Fifty five per cent of the ladies confessed that they loved attention from men – and more than a third said men often get the wrong idea because they were so flirtatious.

More than a third also claim their ''''minor indiscretion'''' happened by accident because their flirting got out of hand.

The study was conducted by Opera North to open their new season with the Mozart opera Cosi fan tutte, translated as ''''All Women Are Like That'''' – a light-hearted comedy that looks at the very nature of infidelity, reports The Daily Express.

More than one in 10 women say they will never be completely monogamous in a relationship because life is too short.

A fifth of women admit they get a thrill from cheating on their partner, and despite knowing it is wrong want to do it again.

The poll also showed one in four women find complete strangers attractive and love the thrill of chasing them on a night out.

A further one in four said they could not resist the temptation of a man in uniform.

Cheating Hubby gifts jewels to wife!

A cheating husband showered his wife with expensive jewellery every time he repeated infidelity, leading her to gather a collection worth almost 300,000 pounds.

Businessman Robert Charlton, from Leicester, UK, made up for breaking his wedding vows by gifting diamond jewels to wife Elizabeth, who was apparently aware of his extra-marital activities.

The unusual arrangement was said to have worked for the couple until Charlton passed away aged 63 in 1979.

Elizabeth, who allegedly told friends the gifts made it easier for her to forgive her husband, died in 2006, leaving her collection to their only child Marie, who put it to auction and raised 286,000 pounds.

“It is a beautiful collection of fine diamond jewellery. There were 43 items in total,” the Daily Express quoted Clare Durham, of auctioneers Woolley and Wallis of Salisbury, Wiltshire, as saying.

Clare added: “His daughter was aware of what was going on and the family have told us the story – it was no secret.”
