Five exercises for sex that can substitute the pills

Venture into the gym instead of the drugstore! We present 5 most effective exercises for sex, to be precise - exercises for a long and satisfying sex life.

Every form of exercise is good for your general health and fitness, which also makes a great starting point for a satisfactory sex life. However, there are some exercises that are especially recommendable if you want to spice up and enliven your sex life, as they enhance your endurance in bed, the flexibility of your body and even the technique itself.

Exercises for physical strength

What we have in mind by exercises for strength is fitness, weightlifting, or even the usual exercises for flat stomach and strong arms. By taking these exercises, you won`t only develop an attractive upper part of your body, but also raise the level of testosterone in your blood. Testosterone is a hormone that plays a key role in a man`s sex life. Research has shown that short, intensive exercises, for example weightlifting, are linked to the increased level of testosterone. Beside an attractive body and reawakened libido, you`ll notice that you can last longer in bed, and maybe you`ll be able to afford a new sexual position, such as the standing one, which requires strong muscles in your arms.

Exercises for flexibility

The most renowned for their flexibility are of course yogis. If you want to bring new positions into your bed, positions that require more suppleness, you should try with some yoga exercises. Yoga will affect positively not only your flexibility, strength and fitness, but also many other things that will come handy during intercourse (breathing, balance, concentration, relaxation). If your only aim is increasing your flexibility, you should just stick to the regular stretching exercises conscientiously after each session of training of strength.
Aerobic exercises to fight erectile dysfunction

Research has revealed that regular aerobic exercises such as walking fast, jogging, cycling etc., decrease the risk of erectile dysfunction for 30% for men who are more than 50 years old. Walking fast 5 kilometers three or four times a week will suffice. Aerobic exercises are good for your heart and veins, and better blood circulation contributes to a longer lasting and harder erection. Physical durability also becomes better with newly-gained fitness. In addition, aerobic exercises cause the release of endorphins which ensure relaxation and thus contribute to better sex.

Swimming for sex in old age

According to the study which included 160 swimmers of both sexes, people in their sixties reported having sex life common to 40-year-olds. One should swim at least 3 times a week for half an hour. Swimming improves endurance and helps with developing symmetric muscles and losing the redundant weight which can hinder sex life. Beside enhancing your endurance and strength, swimming will boost your self-confidence, which will kindle both your and your partner`s libido.
Kegel exercises aren`t meant only for women

By taking exercises for the muscles of the pelvic floor (pubococcygeus, or PC), which you use to stop the flow of urine, you`ll become more endurable, as it will be easier for you to control your ejaculation and postpone it. To locate these muscles, try to stop your urine flow when you go to the toilet. You`re contracting the same muscles when you do Kegel exercises: contract them for 10 seconds, relax them for another 10 seconds; repeat until you get tired. These exercises can be done at whatever place and time.
Your week plan should include at least three exercises for better sex and these should last for at least 30 minutes. You`ll be grateful for feeling better, looking better, for your partner`s response to your body and of course for being able to have longer, hotter and more intense sex!
