Recipe: Strawberry Waffles

Enjoy the goodness of milk and fruits with waffles.

Ingredients :

1 1/3 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup strawberries
1 cup cream


Procedure:

Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt and baking powder.

Beat egg yolks until light and foamy.

Add sugar, shortening and mix well.

Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients to egg mixture.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and bake in hot waffle iron.

Serve hot with strawberry and cream as toppings.
