How To Have An Orgasm Quickly?

Well most often a quick orgasm is not very desirable. It might leave one or both partners unsatisfied. For a man it can also be taken as an insult. However, it is not like there is no room for you to enjoy lovemaking in a haste. With the increasing work pressure in our lives and the onslaught of one night stands, the concept of those 'five minutes in your lover's arms' will disappear. Soon all we will be having are quickies.

Why Would You Want A Quick Orgasm?

  • Sometimes you are making love inappropriate places like the back seat of a car or the back end of a disc and you need to get done with it quickly.
  • You could also be making love in an apartment you share with someone who will be home soon.
  • Sometimes you get into the groove just before you are going to travel or leave for work and then you need to make it quick.
Lovemaking Positions To Try For A Quick Orgasm:

  • Any lovemaking positions that allow maximum penetration will give you better chances of a quick orgasm. For men the missionary position (man on top of woman) gives the maximum pleasure and thus they can come faster this way.
  • To make a woman have an orgasm you have to often work harder. Female orgasms are often elusive and difficult to predict. However if the woman sits in an upright position on the man orgasm is faster. The reasons are the same, greater penetration.
  • It is always easier to come when you are in a lovemaking position that puts you on top. This is because the rush of blood is downwards. Lying down you are going against gravity so your body will not help you have an orgasm.
  • This is the mainly why it is so hard to make a woman have an orgasm. Women often choose a position that involves lying flat on the back and that doesn't give them the instant rush of hormones.
  • The more excited you are, the easier it is to have a quick orgasm. If you you hit the bed in a haste and are totally into it then you come automatically. You need not try hard for it.
  • If you prolong your foreplay then you will come faster and better. You need not make it a slow game of turning each other on because you are obviously short of time. All you have to do that one thing that you cannot resist and soon you will be buzzing.
  • Any lovemaking position that allows free movement is good for coming quickly. If you are in a hurry then don't try a something new where you get stuck up in an awkward position because it is a big turn off.
Use these lovemaking tips to select positions that will yield a quick orgasm; short and sweet is the trend now.

Men reach orgasm after vaginal intercourse while women with oral sex

Men are more likely to orgasm when sex includes vaginal intercourse and women are more likely to orgasm when they engage in a variety of sex acts, a new study has revealed.

Findings from the study of sexual and sexual-health behaviours conducted by Indiana University has provided an updated and much needed snapshot of contemporary Americans'' sexual behaviours, including a description of more than 40 combinations of sexual acts that people perform during sexual events, patterns of condom use by adolescents and adults, and the percentage of Americans participating in same-sex encounters.

The National Survey of Sexual Health and Behaviour (NSSHB) is one of the most comprehensive studies on these topics in almost two decades and documents the sexual experiences and condom-use behaviours of 5,865 adolescents and adults ages 14 to 94.

According to the study's findings, one of four acts of vaginal intercourse are condom protected in the U.S. (one in three among singles).

"These data about sexual behaviours and condom use in contemporary America are critically needed by medical and public health professionals who are on the front lines addressing issues such as HIV, sexually transmissible infections and unintended pregnancy," said Michael Reece of the Centre for Sexual Health Promotion.

Debby Herbenick, of the CSHP said Herbenick said: "Findings show that condoms are used twice as often with casual sexual partners as with relationship partners, a trend that is consistent for both men and women across age groups that span 50 years."

The report has also suggested that adults using a condom for intercourse were just as likely to rate the sexual extent positively in terms of arousal, pleasure and orgasm than when having intercourse without one.

Many older adults continue to have active pleasurable sex lives, reporting a range of different behaviours and partner types, however adults over the age of 40 have the lowest rates of condom use. Although these individuals may not be as concerned about pregnancy, this suggests the need to enhance education efforts for older individuals regarding STI risks and prevention.

The findings were published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Why are some women never able to achieve orgasm?

Psychogenic anorgasmia is the term used to describe a woman’s inability to achieve any form of orgasm with her partner.

With anorgasmia even clitoral stimulation doesn’t help

In the event of the most extreme form of psychogenic anorgasmia, even clitoral stimulation doesn’t help a woman to achieve an orgasm, either while masturbating or during sexual intercourse. To avoid any misunderstanding, we aren’t talking about a woman who’s shy and embarrassed, but a woman who experiments wih her body and is still unable to achieve the climax. Such a woman can’t sufficiently relax, has psychological hindrances and doesn’t enjoy having intercourse as she should. Naturally, the reasons aren’t superficial or caused by something that would happen over night. These are serious problems and the causes of anorgasmia derive from the woman`s past experiences.

Anorgasmia is often caused by a man

Anorgasmia involves psychological hindrances that don’t allow a woman to relax completely and indulge in sexual activities. Sexual intercourse in inappropriate circumstances, the fear of surprise or pregnancy, her partner’s sexual roughness, the woman’s dissatisfaction with his attitude towards her, the feeling that her partner neglects her and perhaps even his alcoholism are all possible reasons for anorgasmia. In other words, a woman’s inability to achieve an orgasm is often caused by her partner who doesn’t devote enough attention to his partner, show her tenderness and offer her all the things necessary for a satisfying sexual intercourse. A bad experience with one partner can be subconsciously transferred to a relationship with another partner, which means achieving an orgasm is doomed for failure from the start. One of the major causes are arguments and dissatisfaction outside the bed, which are pilling up and causing stress and a bad mood that leads to poor sexual life. At first, orgasms in such a relationship are rare and later they completely disappear.

Childhood traumas can cause anorgasmia

A person is the sum of experiences from his or her past. If a person’s past was problematic one way or another and has left permanent consequences, the present is therefore burdened with the past, which is reflected badly on the person’s sexual life. Women who are insecure because of bad experiences with an ex lover who, for instance, in a foolish way criticized her external appearance or had a young or attractive mistress and thus caused his partner permanent psychological consequences. It can also involve the so-called feeling of guilt towards the mother or submissiveness to the mother that makes a normal sexual life of an adult woman impossible as well.

Anorgasmia because of submissiveness to the mother

A woman suffering from submissiveness to her mother has serious problems with her partner in her relationship. She avoids love relationships, is burdened by the fear of men and is distrustful of sexual love. When deciding to get married, she is usually completely submissive to the will of her mother, neglects her husband, allows her mother to attack and slander him and she runs into her mother’s arms every time she and her husband have a argument, hence the term mommy’s little girl, that is, a woman who can’t make a decision without consulting her mother and becomes cold and defiant towards her husband for no reason. All that are the possible causes of anorgasmia and a woman is unable to enjoy in sexual activities and no longer achieves orgasms. The mother of such a woman also has bad experiences with the opposite sex and she therefore only instills the worst ideas about men into her daughter’s mind. If, however, the daughter starts enjoying her life and may nevertheless indulge in love, she has strong feelings of guilt because she defies her mother, which again plunges her to into the initial state.
Lack of sexual desire for her partner

One of the causes of psychogenic anorgasmia is also a lack of sexual desire for the partner. Maybe it appears because of distrust or just because he changed with age, neglected himself, started drinking, wasn’t attentive enough and was particularly egoistic in bed. Maybe the relationship faded after so many years because both partners didn’t nourish it, or maybe it’s the case of latent lesbian tendencies that a woman hides all her life and doesn’t dare to admit them. And what’s the solution? An urgent and immediate appointment with a sexologist or marriage counsellor and psychotherapy.

Common Causes for Orgasm Problems

Orgasm problems are premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction and delayed ejaculation. There are many physiological and psychological causes of these problems in men. The causes for orgasm problems are avoidable but our modern lifestyle has taken such a turn for the worse that at times it seems impossible to avoid them. Before trying to get a cure for your problem, you should have some idea of what is causing it.

Causes of Orgasm Problems

  • Medical Conditions – Some chronic health problems restrict the blood flow to the penis. The arteries get blocked leading this problem. High blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and diseases of the liver, kidneys and lungs. Medications such as antihistamines, sleeping pills, high blood pressure pills and those for prostate cancer hamper the flow of blood to lower body parts including penis. Obesity can cause the same problems.
  • Smoking – Smokers are more likely to suffer from orgasm problems, according to National Health Services of the UK. Up to 120000 men in the USA have been identified as being impotent because of smoking. The semen quality and sperm count of men in their 30s and 40s go down because of smoking. Many times men find out about this only when they want to have children. So, it is advisable to quit smoking even if becoming a father is not high in your priorities at the moment.
  • Stress - The demands of modern lifestyles can be the cause of much stress and anxiety. Work, school, personal problems or any other preoccupation. It is important for men to separate their intimate moments from the strains of these factors, failing which they fall prey to impotency. Moreover, the inability to get an erection once works as a contributory factor the next time it is attempted. Low self esteem and depression can also result because of this.
  • Physical Causes – An accidental damage to the vital organs responsible for orgasm can always be the cause for problems. If such is your case, there is no other way but to undergo a surgery for getting the organ back to its normal functioning. Bemusing enough, even riding bikes for long can cause some sort of impotence as the pressure on veins restrict blood flow to the penis. The penis gets temporarily numbed.

The abovementioned causes for orgasm problems can be prevented and treatment is also available for them. Contact your healthcare provider for getting the right treatment.

Why women tend to fake orgasm

Women regularly fake orgasm to ensure that their partners remain faithful to them, a new report has claimed.

According to a report compiled by Farnaz Kaighobadi from Columbia University, Todd Shackelford and Viviana Weekes-Shackelford from Oakland University, “mate-guarding” behaviour was
found to be more common among those with suspicions their boyfriends and husbands might stray.

The researchers surveyed 453 women, ranging in age from 18 to 46, who had been in relationships for at least six months, and more than half of those involved in the study admitted to having faked an orgasm.

Orgasm“One particular reason that emerges from a lot of studies is “to keep my partner interested in this relationship”, or “to prevent him from defecting from the relationship or leaving the relationship for another woman’,” the Daily Mail quoted Kaighobadi as saying.

The researchers also found that the group of women faking orgasm was also more likely to have suspicions about their partners’ fidelity as compared to those who said they had never faked an orgasm.

The report has been published in The Archive of Sexual Behaviors.

What happens to the brain during an orgasm

The female orgasm “illuminates” almost every region of the brain, a new video has shown. The first video taken through an MRI scanner shows that rather than a few isolated areas of the brain being affected, the orgasm affects more than 80 brain regions.

Nan Wise, a 54-year-old sex
therapist, volunteered to sit in an MRI scanner while stimulating herself. In the video, levels of brain activity are on a “hot metal” scale, low activity is red, high activity is yellow and white.

The video shows that early on in the process, the activity is limited to just a few areas of the brain, but later it spreads to more than 80 brain regions.

It also shows how activity sparks off in the sensory cortex, in the specific area related to the genitals, but it spreads quickly through the limbic system, involved in emotions and memory.

As orgasm arrives, activity peaks in the hypothalamus, which releases a chemical called oxytocin, and after the orgasm, the activity throughout the brain dies down.

“This visualization shows themagnetic resonance imaging brain data of a participant experiencing an orgasm - and the corresponding relationships seen within these different regions based on oxygen levels in the blood,” the Daily Mail quoted Professor Barry Komisaruk, a psychologist at Rutgers University in New Jersey as saying.

“Oxygen levels are displayed on a spectrum from dark red (lowest activity) to yellow/white (highest).

“As can be observed, an orgasm leads to almost the entire brain illuminating yellow, indicating that most brain systems become active at orgasm,” he added.

Giving your girl an orgasm

Keeping a sexual relationship fresh and exciting for years, perhaps decades, is one of the most important challenges facing many couples today, so it's terrific that you're giving it some thought, says The Sun.

Here are 10 simple tips given by The Sun to beat sexual boredom you can try now.

1. Give your love life priority. It's amazing how many couples would say that making love is or should be one of the most important parts of their relationships, yet actually devote just 20 minutes at the end of the occasional busy day.

Most adults do have many demands on their time and energy, but take your role as your partner's lover as seriously as you take your roles as worker, parent, friend, etc. Set aside the time to make love properly while you have energy to share and enjoyment to bring.

2. If you argue over how often you make love, negotiate a compromise. One of the most common sexual conflicts between couples who have been together some time is how often they are going to make love.

It quickly leads to an impasse, where one feels they are always being badgered for sex and so wants it less and less, and the other feels they are always being rejected, so wants it more and more.

Bring the issue out into the open and work out a compromise. If a man wants to make love, say, four times a week and his partner once, they can agree they will make love twice a week.

It usually means they feel far more relaxed and loving together. The man knows that tonight may not be the night, but he can rest assured that Friday will be. His partner can give him a kiss and cuddle on other nights - which reassures him how much he is loved - without worrying it will inevitably lead to a demand for sex.

3. Separate sex from the rest. No relationship is perfect and without friction. Women especially have a tendency to feel they can't think of making love with their partner if they're fed up with him over something else.

Of course you can't - and shouldn't - try to ignore important areas of conflict, but do be careful not to let petty irritations get in the way of making love and set up a vicious circle of rejection and revenge.

4. Take a trip. Of course people starting affairs enjoy it - if they've half a chance they go away together and devote a weekend or a few days to fun and sex. So at least once a year, get away with your legitimate partner to spend as long as possible alone together in a pleasant setting.

Don't feel you have to spend all of your time in bed. It's just as important for the quality of your sex life that you should share some hours of really talking together about your feelings, hopes and fears. Apart from the sex, a major reason why people have affairs is that their lover listens to them in a way their regular partner hasn't been bothering to.

5. Revive the dating game. Remember how before you were a settled couple you would meet up for dates, go out somewhere pleasant, talk together, in fact spend a whole evening going through a ritual designed to put you most at ease together and most looking forward to loving?

Agree with your partner that you will devote every Wednesday night or whenever to talking, sharing a glass of wine, a film, relaxing together. Sex must not be compulsory after these evenings - no more than it should be on a conventional date - but there's a good chance you will both fancy it.

6. Make the most of the unexpected. If you suddenly realise you can both be home from work early one day and have the house to yourselves, use that precious gift of unusual time together to add the freshness of variety to your loving.

It's a wonderful change to make love in daylight if the demands of work and family life usually confine you to after dark.

7. Learn massage. Sharing skilled, all-over body massage is one of the most wonderful gifts you can give one another. It brings great physical pleasure and relaxation to both the giver and the receiver of the massage. You don't always want to go on to have sex straight afterwards but when you do make love it will feel fantastic.

8. Vary your setting. If you always but always make love in your good old double bed, look for chances to vary where you make love as well as when. If you've the house to yourselves at least occasionally, you can revive the fun of the sofa or living room floor of your courting days.

If privacy is a problem, use the remedy of countless courting couples - the back of the car or some other quiet spot. Half the fun of an affair is often seizing even uncomfortable opportunities. Faithful couples shouldn't miss out on it all.

9. Share a bath or a shower. I'm not so much talking about the cliché of making love in the shower, though that's fun when you're in the mood.

It helps keep you close if you make it a habit that one of you sits and chats while the other baths or showers. A simple friendly gesture such as scrubbing the other's back helps keep warm feelings flowing between you.

10. Sort out the turn-offs. Sometimes husband or wives can develop habits or traits that put their partner right off sexually. Bad breath, greasy hair, tatty underwear etc., can all lead to a partner finding excuses to avoid sex or not making love with their old verve.

It's better to be honest. You may be holding back because you worry about hurting your partner's feelings, but the result is that you hurt them and yourself more, because you don't give them the chance to put the problem right. Wouldn't you want to know if it were you?

An orgasm a day keeps illnesses away

Women who regularly have orgasms are more energetic and suffer fewer illnesses than females who are left wanting more after sex sessions, says a new research.

According to a team from the Women''s Health programme in Australia, females who rate their sex lives highly have more vitality and a better psychological outlook than those who have sex less than twice a month.

Researchers analysed sex lives of almost 300 females aged from 20 to 65 to reach the conclusion.

Lead researcher Dr Sonia Davison, of the Women''s Health Program at Monash University, Australia, said: "We found that women who were sexually dissatisfied had lower well-being and vitality.

"This finding highlights the importance of addressing these areas as an essential part of healthcare, because women may be uncomfortable discussing these issues with their doctor."

As over 90 percent of women in the study reported their sexual activity involved a partner, and was initiated by the partner at least 50 percent of the time, the sexual activity of the women may have been affected by partner presence (or absence), partner health, and sexual function, which were not addressed in the study.

"The fact that women who self-identified as being dissatisfied maintained the level of sexual activity reported most likely represents established behaviour and partner expectation," said Professor Susan Davis, senior author of this study, also based at the Women''s Health Program at Monash University, Australia.

"It also reinforces the fact that frequency of sexual activity in women cannot be employed as a reliable indicator of sexual well-being,” the expert added.

Sexual medicine expert Dr Irwin Goldstein said: "This emphasises the role and importance of sexual health in women''s overall health and well-being."

The study has been published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.

An orgasm a day keeps the Doctor away!

British school pupils are being advised that they have a “right” to enjoy a good sex life and that having intercourse on a regular basis can be good for their cardiovascular health.

A National Health Service leaflet about the benefits of sexual pleasure has been circulated to parents, teachers and youth workers.

Authors of the document argue too much emphasis was laid on the need for “safe sex” and relationships while the main reason to have sex, that is, for enjoyment, has been pushed back, reports Times Online.

The leaflet, entitled Pleasure and drawn up by NHS Sheffield, reads: “an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away.”

It also says: “Health promotion experts advocate five portions of fruit and veg a day and 30 minutes’ physical activity three times a week. What about sex or masturbation twice a week?”

Orgasms are good for You

Girls who get lots of sexual thrills are also the most likely to hit career and health highs, claims Britain's first orgasm coach, as reported in the The Sun.

Psychologist Lisa Turner, below, says the right type of orgasm will "massively increase your energy."

Studies suggest that 28 per cent of women rarely, or never, achieve full orgasm, and many resort to faking it - as Meg Ryan did in that famous When Harry Met Sally scene.

But the real thing won't just help your sex life, Lisa says good orgasms also boost health and concentration and help women perform better at work, reports The Sun.

The clitoral orgasm "In the past it was not recognised that women needed clitoral stimulation in order to achieve orgasm.

Now this is commonly appreciated but often to the detriment to the other kinds of orgasms that women can achieve."

The Vaginal Orgasm "This type involves the "G" spot and other highly sensitive areas that are inside the vagina. These orgasms are very different and can be either more or less intense physically, but energetically they raise your energy rather than deplete it."

Multiple Orgasms "Where you stay at the height of sexual excitement such that you have a series of orgasms one after another. just like a string of pearls."

The Full Body Orgasm "These are rare in most women. Not because they are difficult to achieve. With the right training, and practice anyone can achieve a full body orgasm - including men.

These can go on for anything up to 30 minutes, although several minutes is more usual.

She says the most common block to ultimate enjoyment is past trauma, or an inability to let go.
