Alert for women who had breast implants

Thousands of women could be at risk after it emerged that the breast implants made with industrial silicone used in beds had a very high rupture rate, a media report said Wednesday.

Makers Poly Implant Prosthesis, of southern France, were shut down last year following the high rupture rate.

Instead of lasting the usual 10 years, 10 percent of its implants were likely to split within a year, the Daily Express reports.

French authorities have told women to have the implants removed - but 50,000 British women may also have them.

The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons has only advised women to have regular scans.

Damaged implants can be removed on the NHS (National Health Service) but not replaced, leaving women with a bill running into thousands of pounds.

Britain`s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency said it had found "insufficient evidence" to link the implants to cancer.

The British Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons also said the French action was "a precautionary measure".

The French move follows the death of Edwige Ligoneche, 53, from cancer earlier this year. France`s director general for health, Jean-Yves Grall said she was one of nine cancer cases reported so far, according to the newspaper.

Now, a hormone pill for a happier menopause!

Here`s some good news for ladies! Now, you can look forward to a happier menopause, thanks to a new hormone pill which eases hot flushes and peps up your sex life as well, say Italian scientists.

A team at the University of Pisa, which has produced the new pill, says its research showed for the first time that low doses of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a hormone created in the body, can improve women`s sexual satisfaction.

It can also ease symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats, say the scientists.
For their research, the scientists carried out an experiment on 48 women suffering from menopausal symptoms.

Of these, 12 took only vitamin D and calcium to improve their bone strength because they did not want HRT.

The remaining 36 were split into a group of 12 taking DHEA, and two others given standard HRT containing oestrogen and progesterone, or the synthetic steroid tibolone, also known as Livial.

The women`s menopausal symptoms and sexual interest and activity were then measured using standard questionnaires.

After 12 months, all women receiving hormone-replacement supplements showed improvements in menopausal symptoms, while those taking vitamin D and calcium didn`t show any significant improvement, the `Daily Mail` reported.

At the start of the trial, all groups had similar levels of sexual activity. After a year, women taking calcium and vitamin D had a McCoy score -- measuring aspects of sexuality likely to be affected by changing sex-hormone levels – of 34.9, while those using DHEA reached 48.6.

The higher score indicates that women on DHEA had astatistically significant elevation in sexual interest and activity. The results for women using HRT were similar.

Sexual activity was also higher with tibolone, but this was not statistically significant, according to the findings published in the `Climacteric` journal.

Team leader Prof Andrea Genazzani said: "This is a small study, a proof of concept. What we need to do now is to look at a larger study to confirm these initial results are valid."

Experts, however, have called for more tests to determine whether it could eventually become an alternative to Hormone Replacement Therapy for menopausal problems.

Dr John Stevenson, consultant metabolic physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London and chairman of the charity Women`s Health Concern, said: "These are interesting findings and we now need a bigger study."

Women can’t keep secrets for more than 32 minutes

Women are overcome by the desire to gossip and can typically wait no longer than 32 minutes before spilling the beans, a new study has claimed.

According to the study of 3,000 women by facial skincare brand Simple, one in ten admitted to being unable to keep a secret, no matter how personal or confidential the news is, whereas 85 percent said that they relish hearing gossip from others.

Depending on who the gossip is about, a woman’s husband, mother or best friend is most likely to be the initial recipients of the information.

Almost half of the women questioned said that they often felt the need to offload their secrets to someone while a sneaky 13 percent said they intentionally relayed gossip so that it would spread.

“This poll clearly shows that women really struggle to keep secrets,” the Daily Mail quoted a spokesperson for Simple as saying.

“Spilling the beans in just 32 minutes is very fast work, but with modern technology someone’s juicy secret can be spread to huge amount of people all over the world in a very short space of time.

“We are all guilty of sharing people’s secrets but there is a difference between idle chit-chat and sharing someone’s most sacred secret,” the spokesperson added.

Women naughtier at 70 than 40

Parenting website Netmums and the magazine Saga asked 9,000 women aged 16 to 75 what exactly they look for in a long-term partner, and found that women in their 70s value sexual chemistry in a partner more than women in their 40s.

"The results provide some intriguing insights into real relationships across the generations," the Telegraph quoted Emma Soames, editor at large of Saga Magazine, as saying.

"It's reassuring to see that over 50, the desire for sexual chemistry returns, showing that women still value the thing that brought them together with their partner in the first place," she added.

Across the ages, one in five women questioned said that they were after a man who makes them weak at the knees.

Siobhan Freegard, co-founder of Netmums, suggested that the dip in sexuality could be the result of middle-aged women putting their family first year after year.

"Women could be going through a temporary sexual midlife crisis, as they concentrate on their careers and raising a family," she said.

"Perhaps the two generations should take a leaf out of each others books that today''s younger women should put more emphasis on the traditional and enduring qualities whilst the over 50s could maybe demand more open dialogue with their man," she added.

Oral sex enough for women!

Men are more likely to orgasm when sex includes vaginal intercourse and women are more likely to orgasm when they engage in a variety of sex acts, a new study has revealed.

Findings from the study of sexual and sexual-health behaviours conducted by Indiana University has provided an updated and much needed snapshot of contemporary Americans` sexual behaviours, including a description of more than 40 combinations of sexual acts that people perform during sexual events, patterns of condom use by adolescents and adults, and the percentage of Americans participating in same-sex encounters.

The National Survey of Sexual Health and Behaviour (NSSHB) is one of the most comprehensive studies on these topics in almost two decades and documents the sexual experiences and condom-use behaviours of 5,865 adolescents and adults ages 14 to 94.

According to the study`s findings, one of four acts of vaginal intercourse are condom protected in the US (one in three among singles).

"These data about sexual behaviours and condom use in contemporary America are critically needed by medical and public health professionals who are on the front lines addressing issues such as HIV, sexually transmissible infections and unintended pregnancy," said Michael Reece of the Centre for Sexual Health Promotion.

Debby Herbenick, of the CSHP said Herbenick said: "Findings show that condoms are used twice as often with casual sexual partners as with relationship partners, a trend that is consistent for both men and women across age groups that span 50 years."

The report has also suggested that adults using a condom for intercourse were just as likely to rate the sexual extent positively in terms of arousal, pleasure and orgasm than when having intercourse without one.

Many older adults continue to have active pleasurable sex lives, reporting a range of different behaviours and partner types, however adults over the age of 40 have the lowest rates of condom use. Although these individuals may not be as concerned about pregnancy, this suggests the need to enhance education efforts for older individuals regarding STI risks and prevention.

The findings were published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Why some women have sex less often

A new study has found that women with increased amount of responsibilities to make household decisions tend to have sex less often. The study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health In Sub-Saharan Africa claimed that sexual activity among African
women with increased responsibilities is quite low.

coupleThe researchers examined the relationships between married women’s autonomy and the time since most recent sexual intercourse and found that women’s position in their household may influence sexual activity.

“A very consistent pattern was observed across all six countries we surveyed—as the number of decisions in which a women had the final say increased, the mean and median time since most recent sex also increased by three- to 100-fold,” said Michelle Hindin, PhD, MHS, lead author of the study and an associate professor at the Bloomberg School’s Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health.

“The more decisions a woman reported making on her own, as compared to joint decision making, the less likely she was to have sex and the longer it was since she last had sexual intercourse,” she added.

The study appears online and will be published in the October issue of the Journal of Sex Research.

Women living with partners put on more weight

Women who live with a partner put on more weight than those without a partner or a child, according to a new study.

The study conducted by Wendy Brown, Annette Dobson, U-Q both professors and Richard Hockey of University of Queensland (U-Q), also found that women also experience a larger weight gain after having their first baby.

Researchers surveyed more than 6,000 women over a 10 year period to assess the factors associated with weight gain in young women.

Women with a baby and partner gained the most weight, followed by those with a partner and no baby. Women without a partner or children also gained weight, but at a lower rate.

Dobson and co-authors suggest that the weight gain among all women may be explained by changing social and behavioural factors, said an UQ release.

"This is a general health concern as obesity rates continue to increase," said Dobson.

These findings were published in the January edition of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

Women love cell phones more than boyfriends: Survey

Mobile phone seems to have become first love of many girls as a survey found that losing their cell phones is more upsetting for women than splitting with their boyfriend.

In a survey of 4,000 women living in Australia, carried out by British pawnbroker Borro to know their most treasured possessions, four in every 10 women said they would be lost without their mobiles, but would happily go without a man in their life.

Majority of the women surveyed consider their mothers to be their most prized possession followed closely by their photographs and then their mobile phone, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Besides mother and mobile, women treasured their friends more than then their boyfriends, the study claimed.

Other items which made it to the list of most treasured items in a woman's life were diamond rings, pets, laptops and hair straighteners.

As part of the survey, when the women were asked whether they would dump their boyfriends for money, a large chunk said they would consider doing so if offered more than USD one million in cash.

The survey's results showed the changing focus of what is important in many women's lives, said Anne Hollonds from Relationship Australia.

"I think it fits within the fact that we are very focused on our own lives these days," Hollands added.

Women find fitting into older jeans better than sex!

Women in the UK find fitting into an old pair of jeans better than sex, says a study.

More than a quarter of surveyed confessed they stored a pair of "trophy" jeans they used to fit into.

As many as 35 per cent said they kept the pair hoping they would slim down and get into them again, reports the Scotsman.

And when quizzed how would trying them on again make them feel, 29.1 per cent rated it would be better than sex.

Women more happier with life than men

Women get more pleasure out of life than men - but only by 15 minutes a day, says a new study.

Social Policy Research Centre fellow Dr Roger Patulny, from the University of New South Wales: "If you add up all the times together - the good times and the bad times - men have about 10 minutes less time that they enjoy than women in a day and six minutes more time that they dislike."

"Women tend to enjoy the things that they do with their time more than men do," Patulny said.

In the study, the expert found that the biggest negative for women was housework: 90 minutes of it every day, reports The Daily Telegraph.

As for males, they did about 50 minutes of unenjoyable chores.

They also endured more "bad" time in paid work and commuting, the research added.

"Women seem happier," Patulny said. "They are happier if you ask them how satisfied they are with life but they also have more happy time."

He believes that the difference may be that males tend to be more socially disconnected because they spend less time with families and friends and are more likely to see themselves as lonely.

Top 10 cruel things women do to men

Despite being known as the fairer sex, women can be downright nasty and often do cruel things to men.

Now, Askmen.com has compiled a list of top 10 cruel things that women do to men and how they play with the guy's emotions or ego.

10. They don't pick up the phone

While men feel good as they manage to take the girls' phone number, the girls often give them a fake number or don't pick up the call.

9. Use men for free drinks

Some women go out never planning to spend any of their own money on drinks at the bar or club. Instead, they count on their feminine wiles to convince guys to shell out for their libations. While some of them might begin to get to know him, the cruel and heartless ones will take that drink, flirt a little and move on.

8. Use men as placeholders

If she is a decent person, she'll just get it over with and dump the boy, but if she's cruel, she'll hold on to him for a while until somebody new comes along. These girls don't like to be alone and without a relationship, so instead of putting you out of your misery and ending it, she'll string you along until she meets someone to replace you.

7. Emotionally manipulate men

Men don't like to see women cry and some cruel women take advantage of the fact and use it to get what they want. A few tears would make men do anything to get it to stop.

6. Use physical violence

While men hitting girls are often termed nasty, some cruel women feel it's perfectly acceptable to hit their boyfriends, as he would never hit her back. This type of woman feels like she can inflict any kind physical pain on him without fear of repercussion.

5. Criticize their men in public

Cruel women criticize and humiliate their men in public places. They often poke fun at her man or even soundly debase him.

4. They don't disclose their relationship status

It's certainly not the worst thing a woman could do to a man, but it is annoying when she''s already in a relationship and lets you assume that she's available so that she can enjoy the man's flirtation and flattery.

3. They withhold sex

This is a time-tested, and frequently used, cruel thing for women to do to men. For most men, sex is as important as breathing, so withholding it in order to get something she wants or simply to punish her man for his transgressions is a pretty awful thing to do, even if it is effective.

2. They test their men

You're all ready to go for a night out with your friends, when your girlfriend calls and asks you to change your plans to be with her instead. She doesn't have any particular reason; she just wants to see you. She knows that you had plans to meet up with the guys, but if you really loved her, you'd come over to her place instead. If her request comes with an "if you really loved me," then it''s a test. If you choose anything other than immediately rushing to her side, you''re going to fail. This kind of testing in a relationship is indeed cruel and petty.

1. They flirt to inspire jealousy

Maybe she's feeling underappreciated, maybe you've just had a big fight or maybe she just enjoys the tortured look on your face. For whatever reason, girls who flirt obviously with other guys in front of their boyfriends are immature and manipulative.

Make your first night memorable

Most couples nurse nervous speculations and deep seated performance anxiety about their first night of closeness. Hearsay from newly wed friends or common beliefs picked up from random sources add to the sexual tension. Knowing the exact way to get it right is an arduous task and if gone wrong, you may end up facing a catastrophic situation in your bedroom with your first nuptial boo-boos.

We spoke to some couples to know the common blunders they made (inadvertently) on their first night. Of course, it wasn't just about 'sex' on the first night, as there were numerous other problems which could ruin the first night craze...

Boo-boo: A moment in haste and its all waste
Without much knowledge about sex, couples encountered awkward situations like premature ejaculation for men or women getting overtly apprehensive about vaginal pain and hymen bleeding. Fear is the biggest factor affecting performance on the first night.

Top Tip: Make the act more pleasurable
No person is a master sex performer, so indulge in a prolonged foreplay session to make your first night a tender bonding experience. Even if things go wrong, stay calm and try again after some time. Sometimes the wedding stress and the discomfort of an all new environment takes a mental toll. The body and mind may not be fully open for the experience of sexual discovery. Being patient is key.

Boo-boo: Experiments can wait
Agreed that it's your first time with your partner, but don't get overtly excited. Couples are all geared up to try new acts in bed, but first try and figure out your partner's comfort quotient.

Top Tip: Every night is a first night
Don't think that the first night is your 'one and only' chance to make love passionately, with time your bond will grow even more special with your better half. The first night is just the beginning of pleasures. Don't fret and waste it in performance anxiety!

Boo-boo: Look sexy in tradition
It's believed that a bride must remain in her wedding outfit and let the husband come and lift up the veil (‘ghoongat’). But modern day brides aren't too interested in donning the ostentatious outfit for too long and the minute they enter the bedroom; they prefer to undress into a sexy lingerie/night gown. Now, no matter how sensuous your night gown maybe, it doesn't have the same charm as a wedding ensemble. This fashion faux pas forms a lesser known, but common goof-up for brides.

Top Tip: Gifts Galore
As the husband lifts up the veil of the bride's wedding outfit, she's entitled to a surprise gift (for 'mooh dikhayee'). Rings, pendants, necklaces are passé; think of something out-of-the-blue, maybe a romantic honeymoon package, which she would be least expecting or a glamorous outfit, a transparent, hot dress, which you'd like her to get clad in just for your eyes.
Some might not agree here, but the following is a common occurrence. Your partner is not interested in too
much talking, especially on the first night. If you're the new bride, behave like one - blush a little to impart that 'just married' feel. Men should ideally stop narrating a long drawn thesis about their preferences. Being a chatterbox is no less than a slip-up!

Top Tip: Words say a lot more
Don't give each other marathon lessons on your likes and dislikes. Instead writing a romantic letter and keeping it tucked away under the pillow can be a sweet initiating gesture. Open up and talk about your secrets and hidden desires!

Boo-boo: Stop acting as strangers, you're married
We aren't saying shed all inhibitions and get going for a wild act in bed, but at least initiate the process of getting to know each other. Couples often refrain from talking to each other normally on the first night, presuming it's just meant for 'sex!'

Top Tip: Know each other
Start an interesting conversation to break the ice. Share moments you enjoyed on your wedding day and build the comfort level.

Boo-boo: Let the ambiance do the talking
The D-day tiredness is evidently there, but some couples, especially brides, tend to go overboard with the stress factor. This surely is a big turn-off for the other half, as he sees you either sleeping already or all prepared to slip between the sheets without any foreplay act. Just because you're tired!

Top Tip: Ambience unlimited
It's your first night, so your bed may as well resemble a full bloom garden in spring. Decorate it in a way that it sets the mood right for a romantic nighttime ahead. Create a heady ambience with aromatic oils, fragrant flowers, scented bed sheets and sensual music. It will heal your tired souls. Also try a relaxing foot massage to pamper each other. It will set the stage for the real act.

Boo-boo: Forget friends, it's your time to enjoy each other
As per tradition, the bride has to give her young in-laws a bribe to move out of the way before she enters the bedroom. Unfortunately, some in their new 'bahu' avatar tend to allow friends and relatives to come in and sit for hours to gossip, without even realising that the poor hubby is waiting to get spend some alone (private) moments. Grow up girls!

Top Tip: Twosome is the word
Friends and relatives are not going anywhere, stop indulging with them too much, especially on your first night. Concentrate on the man instead and make him feel special and not your in-laws.

The first night is special. Chase your future dreams rather than pining away for distant sexual goals.

Tips for Married Women – How to Romance Your Husband

Ladies, many of you probably think you’re the romantic in your marriage. Your husband, frankly, is clueless when it comes to romance. You have to practically beg him to say “I love you". You grab his hand when you walk together (and he keeps pulling it away). You can barely get him to remember your anniversary, and when he does remember and brings you a gift, more often than not it came from the head, not from the heart. After all, men think logically, women think emotionally. There’s no doubt that women rule when it comes to romance. Right?
You might be surprised to find out you’re wrong. In her book “How to Make Anyone Fall in Love With You", author Leil Lowndes reveals that women are better at romance (with a small “r") than men when it comes to the little things, like holding hands and remembering important dates. But men are the clear winners when it comes to Romance (with a capital “R"). They initiate serious relationships more frequently than women do; they are more idealistic about love; they’re more adversely affected by breakups, and more willing to work out problems in the relationship; and they rate their spouses/lovers higher in their social pecking order.

What does this mean for you, ladies? It means your husband is aware of what romance is – and he needs romance just as much as you do! But remember, romance for you means doing the little things. Romance for your husband is viewed on a much larger canvas. You need to work in his world, give him Romance (note that capital “R" again) in a way he’ll understand. That doesn’t always mean purely physical, so you can breathe a little easier (and please, put away the big satin ribbon and stiletto heels). Here are some ways you can show your significant other that you know how to romance him in ways he’ll understand and appreciate!

Reassure Him You’re There for the Long Haul If your husband’s being a bit of a jerk because he’s having a rough day (week, month, year), it’s a good time to let him know you’re there for him. Maybe you need to fix his favorite dinner, offer to rub his back, or run a hot tub for him (yes, guys do like baths once in awhile). He may be a bit taken aback by the attention. If he asks why you’re going to all the trouble, you can tell him the truth: “I love you no matter what, and I just wanted you to know that." You reinforce to him that you love him for who he is, not what he does. You emphasize that this area of his life is stable and secure, even if others aren’t. And you keep it simple. Guys don’t always need to know the details; the bottom line usually will suffice. For his part, it can help relieve a lot of pressure and make him a bit easier to live with.

Treat Him to Something He Really Likes You love going shopping at the mall; he’d rather spend his time at the computer warehouse or the sporting goods superstore. There’s nothing you enjoy more than lunch at your favorite tea shoppe ; his idea of a great meal is heading over to the all-you-can-eat steak buffet restaurant. Your idea of a good movie is something you can laugh and cry at; he’d rather see a shoot-‘ em -up action flick. Break down, ladies. Do something he wants to do for a change. It doesn’t have to be a daily thing, but it should be a regular occurrence. So what if you don’t really care for go- karting ? Would you have gone with him before you got married? I’ll bet you would have. Letting him call the shots when it comes to entertainment for the two of you shows him you think his likes and interests are important. And I’ll bet the next time you want to go somewhere you like, he won’t be as quick to complain…!

Offer Him Time Off He works a full-time job. He helps around the house with the cooking and cleaning and laundry and…okay, so he picks up after himself more often than not. He does have that infamous “honey-do" list to work on, though. And his evenings and weekends are booked up with all of your social activities. So how do you romance a guy who’s constantly on the go? Simple…you give him some time off. Give him the freedom to enjoy that Saturday morning round of golf with his buddies, or go see his favorite ball team play a couple of times a month during the season. Don’t be surprised if this one backfires on you, though – when he tells you to take off with your friends for the afternoon while he watches the kids – and tells you to pick up that nice new dress you’ve been eyeing for awhile.

Have That Intimate Talk – and Listen Your macho-acting, sports-loving, bear of a man husband doesn’t mind talking to you about a variety of topics. Amazingly, he really can open up to you about your relationship. You just have to let him do it on his terms. That does NOT mean sitting down next to him during the football game and asking “Honey, how do you feel about our marriage?" You’re likely to get a grunted, “ It’s fine," and then he’ll be engrossed in the game again. If you need to talk, wait until his task-oriented mind isn’t involved in a major task. Initiate the conversation if you have to, but pay attention to the verbal clues he gives you that indicate he wants to talk. And then…listen. Don’t criticize, don’t compliment, don’t even comment. Let him do the talking. You’d be surprised at just how much information he is willing to share with you when he doesn’t feel that he’s being threatened or manipulated.

Gender Translation Some of you ladies are looking at this list and thinking, “Good grief! This looks like my husband’s birthday wish list! What’s so romantic about any of this stuff? I can’t do this! It’s too hard!" The fact is your husband considers this stuff romantic. It doesn’t make any difference that you don’t, because he thinks using a different algorithm than you do. As for the difficulty issue, do you think it’s easy for guys to do the hand-holding, maintain intimate small talk, and the like? Some of them really struggle with meeting their wives’ needs! So buck up and (dare I say it?) stop thinking like a female! Your husband WILL appreciate these things!

Then there will be the few who will claim that all of these actions and attitudes seem a little, oh, I don’t know…sexist, perhaps? I have to respond by asking this: Is it sexist for a man to show his wife that he cares for her, by working his job and providing for his family, by fixing things around the house, by showing her in the little ways that he loves her? If not, then neither is it sexist for a woman to show her husband she cares for him in the ways mentioned above. It’s a matter of meeting the other person’s needs in a way he (and she!) can understand. If that’s sexist, then I guess we’d all better be guilty if we want to maintain the kind of relationship that lasts a lifetime. And is it worth it?

Flash 40 pc of your skin to allure men!

Women should wear clothes that bare 40 per cent of their bodies in a bid to allure men, say experts.

Keeping the right balance between revealing too much and being too conservative has long been a dilemma for women while choosing the right clothes.

A research team from University of Leeds observed women at one of the city's biggest nightclubs from a balcony above the dance floor.

Using tape recorders hidden in their handbags, they took note of what female clubbers wore. Each arm accounted for 10 per cent of the body, each leg for 15 per cent and the torso for 50 per cent.

They also calculated how many times these women were approached by men asking them to dance.

The study found that women who showed off around 40 per cent of their skin attracted twice as many men as those who covered up.

In contrast, too much skin show turned men off as it suggests they might be unfaithful.

"Any more than 40 per cent and the signal changes from 'allure' to one indicating general availability and future infidelity," the Telegraph quoted lead researcher and psychologist Dr Colin Hendrie, as telling the Daily Mail.

"Show some leg, show some arm, but not any more than that," Hendrie added.

The most popular women combined the 40 per cent rule with tight clothing and provocative dancing. The 15 per cent that combined all three criteria were approached by 40 men each.

The study appears in journal Behaviour.

Flash 40 pc of flesh to woo a man: Study

Can't make out how much to bare on a night out? Well, ladies, flash just 40 percent of your flesh to woo Mr Right, says a new study.

Researchers at Leeds University have carried out the study and found that women should wear an outfit which reveals 40 percent of her skin -- this provides just the right amount of attention.

For their study, the researchers sent four female colleagues to one of the city's biggest nightclubs. There, they stood on a balcony overlooking the dancefloor, and noted what the female clubbers were wearing and how many times they were approached by men.

All their observations were taped on dictaphones hidden in handbags. Seventy hours of recordings revealed that a man was much more likely to ask a woman to dance than vice versa, the 'Daily Mail' reported.

Specifically, women who showed off around 40 percent of their skin were approached by twice as many men as those who were more covered up, the study revealed.

"Any more than 40 per cent and the signal changes from 'allure' to one indicating general availability and future infidelity. Show some leg, show some arm, but not any more than that," lead researcher Colin Hendrie said.

However, some suitors fared better than others. Hendrie said: "The male couldn't be too thin and he couldn't be too fat. Most particularly, he couldn't be too tall and he couldn't be too short. He must be more than a head taller than the female and certainly not shorter than her."

At least some of the men passed the height test, with the researchers noting that 30 per cent of people leaving did so as part of a couple, compared with 20 per cent of those arriving.

The study has been published in the 'Behaviour' journal.

Women in 40s prowling for toyboys

A new poll has found that one in three women aged over 40 years in Britain seek young lovers.

Online dating service Parship questioned 4,500 Brit singles, including women in the age group of 40s and 50s, a.k.a 'Cougars'.

It was found that a lot of these women showed interest in dating men who were younger to them by at least five years.

The poll further suggested that the women were looking for lovers not just for sex but marriage as well.

"Dating a much younger man has now become mainstream and acceptable," the Daily Star quoted dating expert Dr Victoria Lukats as saying.

Women's View on Penis Size

Whether you accept it or not, penis size has always be an issue for a very long time now. But it seems of recent the issue of penile size seems to be growing bigger in the minds of both women and men. Why is that? Well the mass media (films and TV) now portray so many instances where a relationship breaks up mainly because of the man's small penis. Nowadays there are various pharmaceutical companies claiming to have wonder penis enlargement products and sexual enhancers to help solve penile size problems faced by men. But one thing comes to your mind if you are thinking of increasing the size of your penis: do women really care about the size of a man's penis?

Considering the two angles on whether size matters, we have women who would not have sex with any man with a small or an average penis and women who don't believe that penile size matters when it comes to having sex. Although most sex therapist would say that penis size issue is just a male obsession because of the simple fact that a woman's most sensitive sexual nerves are concentrated around the vagina's opening. This only means that penis length is less of an issue, but a bigger penis girth is much more preferable. Even though penis length is not as important as penis girth most men still want a longer penis (and also a thicker penis also) and I can guess having a bigger penis would definitely increase your self-esteem like it does for men who have increased their penis size.

One thing all women would generally agree when it comes to penis size is that a longer and a thicker penis feels much better than a small or an average penis. But this is not to say that if you have an average penis you cannot satisfy your woman, Of course you can but it feels different as a small or an average penis still feels inadequate for most women. The feeling of fullness experienced by women when having sex with a man with a bigger penis is something most women would always cherish.

There is no point having a televised debate on whether penis size matters to women, although different tastes varies among women. One thing is certain women would always prefer a man who can make sex extremely enjoyable for them. And it seems men with bigger penis have much more sexual confidence than men with small or average penile sizes. This only means that well endowed men are more open to try different sex positions and focus their attention on giving their lovers a wonderful time in the bedroom.

Do you have a big penis? If you don't and you would love the self-esteem and benefits that comes with being a well-endowed male, then there is good news for you. Herbal penis enlargement pills and penis enlargement exercises are the best methods of penis enhancement available currently. The herbal pills stimulate penile tissues to increase their sizes while the penis exercises stretch and expand the penile tissues enabling them to increase their sizes. A combination of these two methods is sure to give you a bigger penis in the shortest possible time. Why be stuck with what nature has given you when you can get the penis size you have always dreamt of

Why women settle for less sex

You said no to him yesterday; today you plan to tell him you have a headache. It's not that you don't want it, because you do. So then what's stopping you?
According to Dr Uddhav Raj, a gynaecologist, women have a tendency to have high expectations from their partners. "And if their expectations aren't met, they prefer having less sex. On the other hand, all men want is to have sex and get an orgasm as fast as possible," he says.
Our expert tells us the top five reasons why women settle for less sex.

Low body image

Women will go to any extent to keep their bodies in perfect shape and this can lead to disorders. "They want to look perfect while having sex and being overly self-conscious about one's appearance can be extremely damaging to their sex lives," adds Dr Raj.

Scared to experiment

Women are generally scared to attempt new ways of having sex. "Some of them dislike the idea of mutual masturbation, oral sex and dirty talk. So, they tend to have sex less frequently in order to avoid trying new things," adds Dr Raj.

Lack of communication

In many cases, women may not be enjoying sex with their partners, as a result of which they remain sexually unsatisfied. But out of fear of hurting their partners, they end up not disclosing this. Gradually, they even make up stories to avoid having sex.

Stressed out

Women have to handle many things like work, the household and kids. By the end of the day, they are so exhausted that nothing seems nicer than a good night's rest! Not even sex!

Feeling anxious

Women like pleasing their partners completely without compromising on anything. So when they feel they will not be able to do so, they prefer not having sex rather than disappointing their partner.

Now that you know the possible hurdles, get over them. Talk it out with your partner. It's important to overcome these obstacles and enjoy mutual comfort with your partner to enjoy a good sex life.

9 things never to say to a Woman

One moment they are so loving and coy that they make you feel like a giant grizzly, who should protect them from this big, bad world; and the next they are bored and spat venom at whatever you may say. But try to imagine a woman who would always do what you asked her to do, said the right things, loved you for whatever you are worth – wouldn’t it be a tad boring?

Before you say ‘no’, I would like to remind you that you fell for the woman because of her fire, her nastiness, her love and of course, the passion she always displays. But to stay on her right side, you have to know what not to say to her ever. And she will love you forever.

1. May I kiss you?
You are a man who she is out on date with. By asking such a question you are putting yourself in jeopardy. A man should never ‘ask’ for a kiss as it goes against everything a woman is looking for in a man. You may as well just tell her right there that you are a boy. Eight times of out nine, she is likely to say ‘no’ – so why even say it in the first place? If you so want to kiss her, grab her and plant a passionate one on her lips and watch her expression – she is going to love you forever!

2. May I take you out on a date?
Women like men to lead, to be in control. When you say something like this, like the above number 1, you lead her to believe you want to follow her. She is not looking for a wimp – but a man to be in control. Ask her out, but in a confident manner, something like, “Hey let’s meet up for some drinks tonight?” Be specific, not wishy-washy, tell her the venue and time. And also tell her you’d like her to be punctual. C’mon, there is no harm in coming across as no-nonsense. It might win you brownie points. At least she will open her eyes and look at you.

3. I have it all
Anything about your car, job or house that sounds like you are trying to impress her, should not be talked about. Do you know what kind of guys brag about their cars, jobs and houses to women? Well, the truth is a lot of different kinds of guys, but women put them all in one category: guys who have nothing else to offer. Ask any attractive woman about this and she’ll agree. Sure, you may attract some women, but even those women will be far more impressed by your material possessions if you don't mention them in conversation

4. What do you want to do?
There is a saying that a woman likes a ‘man with a plan’ and it is absolutely true. When you call a woman to hang out, make sure you have a game plan. Don’t put the burden on her or she won’t see you as the type of guy who can show her a good time.

5. How do you feel about me?
The fact that she is willing to go out with you, is indication enough. Don’t ask obvious questions. You not only sound under-confident but also come across as someone who needs constant reassurance. And this can be very tedious. So don’t ask, just assume she likes you, and go from there. Why shouldn’t she like you?

6. I called, but you didn’t call me back
If she doesn’t bring up the matter, don’t say anything about the call you made which she didn’t return or the message she didn’t reply to. Think it never happened and proceed forward. By asking her this there are two things 1. Showing that you care that she didn’t return it. And it’s too early for you to care buddy; 2. Giving her a guilt trip, which women see as insecurity.

7. How many men have you dated before me?
How do you care how many men she has dated before you? As long as she is nice with you and you two are having fun, it is okay. Remember to give a relationship enough time before asking personal or intimate questions. By asking such questions, you may be sealing your own fate. What if she never calls you after this date? You wouldn’t want that to happen. It is okay if she brings it up. But trust me, you don’t want to be the one to start this conversation. You can only lose.

8. Let’s go bowling tomorrow
This is date number one. You don’t know about date number two. So don’t even hint about it by saying ‘Let’s eat Thai food next time.’ Stop, stop, stop, stop! While this sounds good in theory, you must remember that women not only want but need a guy who is somewhat of a “challenge.” You may want to do some fun activities together, but don’t let her know that she has “won you over” too quickly or you’ll come off just like every other guy she’s gone out with that is ready to “put a ring on it” after date No. 1.

9. I know what we should do
While on the phone, avoid saying tomorrow or next time we’ll go there’ as you are killing any spontaneity by being predictable. Second, you are also killing any chances of her calling you, as she has to now wait for your call or risk looking desperate. Not good.
